Sea Buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides) - Shrub Seedling

A shrub that produces attractive berries high in vitamin C.  It is said to be effective in treating various ailments.  Many people believe consuming the berries helps with arthritis, infections, asthma, among other things.  Because Sea Buckthorn plants have attractive pale silvery-green leaves, dense branches, and large thorns, people like to grow them in ornamental hedges or as a first row in a shelterbelt.  Very popular with permaculture types who use the nitrogen fixing properties of this plant to benefit other nearby fruits.
