How do I make a purchase?

Orders can be placed online or by contacting us directly at seedling@lshore.com or calling 800.806.7577. Our knowledgeable team is available to assist you in selecting the right seedlings and completing your order.

What payment methods are accepted for orders?

We accept payments from all major credit card providers. For specific details or to discuss alternative payment options, please contact us at seedling@lshore.com or 800.806.7577.

Can I modify or cancel my order after it has been placed?

Amendments or cancellations can be made within 48 hours of the original order creation date. Cancellations made after 48 hours are subject to a 30% restocking fee. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cancellations within 7 days of the ship date or after the order has been shipped. Contact us at seedling@lshore.com or 800.806.7577.

What is the pick-up process for local customers?

Local customers can pick up their orders at our nursery located at 810 Valley Road, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Please notify us 48 hours in advance to arrange a pick-up date and time. Ensure to bring a tarp or windscreen for plant material transport. Contact us at seedling@lshore.com or 800.806.7577.

How are the seedlings shipped, and what are the shipping costs?

We ship our seedlings with utmost care to ensure they arrive in excellent condition. The shipping method is chosen based on your preference or at our discretion if not specified. The cost of shipping is determined by the order size, destination, and the shipping method chosen at the checkout. All goods travel at the buyer’s risk and expense.

Where do you ship to?

We primarily serve customers within North America, with a special focus on catering to the needs of clients in Canada and the United States. However, we do have the capability to ship internationally, though this is subject to certain limitations and restrictions. International orders must be placed over the phone at 800.806.7577.

For international orders, customers should be aware of the following:

  • Minimum Order Requirement: There is a minimum order value of $2,500 CAD for U.S. destinations. The minimum may vary for other international destinations.
  • Inspection Fee: An inspection fee of $75.00 is charged for international orders, as live plants leaving Canada must be inspected by a government official.
  • Additional Fees: There may be extra charges for brokerage, Phytosanitary Certificate fees, packaging, and postage.
  • Shipping Policy Compliance: Our standard shipping policy applies to international orders, including the handling of any damages or delays incurred during transit.
  • Species Restrictions: Import and export controls may prevent us from shipping certain species outside of Canada.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged or incomplete?

If your stock is damaged or if there are any discrepancies, please file a claim with the transport company immediately and notify us by phone within 3 days and in writing within 5 days of receipt. Contact us at seedling@lshore.com or 800.806.7577.

What is your guarantee policy on seedlings?

We guarantee our seedlings for 45 days post-planting with proper care. If the plant(s) fail within this period, we offer replacement plants or store credit. Please note, no refunds are given, and the guarantee is subject to our terms and conditions.

How can I make a claim if my seedlings do not meet the guarantee?

To make a claim, email seedling@lshore.com within 45 days of receiving your plants. Include your name, invoice number, description of the problem, quantity of plants in question, and photos showing the planting site and the condition of the seedlings.

What types of seedlings do you offer?

We specialize in a variety of hardy tree and shrub seedlings, particularly Saskatoon Berry seedlings (with cultivars like JB30, Martin, Northline, Smoky, and Thiessen). How are your seedlings grown and cared for before sale?

Our seedlings are grown in plug trays within specially constructed greenhouses to ensure optimal growing conditions. They are harvested in the fall and stored in frozen storage throughout the winter, ensuring they remain in a dormant state until shipped.
