Chokecherry (Prunus virginiana) - Shrub Seedling

A shrub or small tree that produces long clusters of small white blooms in the spring followed by edible dark purple fruit that mature between September and October.  The cherries are great for making jams, jellies, and wine.  Commonly used for reclamation and field windbreaks.
